This announcement was made following a meeting of the Board of Directors on June 17. Members present were Sidney W. Sweeney, Lake Charles, president; Rev. Lastie Hoffpauir, Indian Bayou, secretary; J.C. Mack, Lake Arthur; F.H. Helms, Sweet Lake; and Howard Clayton, Roanoke. Only one member, Robert Lyons of Lake Arthur, was absent. Services will be held daily at 10:30 a.m., 3 and 7:45 p.m. by the evangelists. About 25 cottages on the campgrounds are owned by people who attend each year, but there are also a number for rent and space for tents and trailers. Dormitories for both men and women are on the grounds, and a splendid dining room service, with good meals at nominal cost, may be had on the grounds. The tabernacle is screened, guaranteeing protection from mosquitoes. Mr. Sweeney said today, that the Lake Arthur Camp grounds are in constant use from June to September, and that people from Texas, Mississippi and South and Central Louisiana attend these meetings.
