Visitation is 1-10 p.m. today, June 29, with a 7 p.m. rosary and 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Racca died Sunday, June 28, 1998, in Sulphur. A lifelong resident of the Vinton-Sulphur area, he was a retired rice farmer, former Police Juror for Ward 7 Calcasieu Parish and served as president of the Jury in 1983. He was president of III R Trucking Inc. He was a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus Vinton Council 6103 since 1969 and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Vinton. He was instrumental in establishing the Ward 7 Parks and Recreations. Survivors include his wife, Easpy Daigle Racca; two sons, Dr. James Dale Racca of Iowa, La., and Randall Lynn Racca of Vinton; two daughters, Brenda Kay McCall and Deborah Denise Racca, both of Sulphur; three brothers, Elwin Racca of Lacassine, John Racca of Lake Charles and J.D.
