A native of Jennings, she had lived in Tacoma for more than 30 years. She was a retired school teacher from the Clover Park School District. She was active in her church and the Gideons Auxiliary. Survivors include five daughters; one brother, Donald Courville; three sisters, Jane Crochet, Joyce Miller and Linda Taylor; her mother, Cecelia Courville; and eight grandchildren.
