A native of Elton, she had been a fashion model for many years. A fashion consultant, she was a co-owner of an apparel business in Memphis and Dallas and the owner of Peti-Toe Shoe Company in Dallas. She was an active member of the board of directors of the Southern Federation of National Lebanese Clubs, past president of the Southern Federation of Syrian Lebanese, Cedars Happiness Club. For 40 years she was active in national and local Syrian-Lebanse-American Clubs and in the North Dallas Women's Gourmet Club, in which she was an officer. An RHD Hospital volunteer, she was a member of the Texas Association of Hospital Auxiliaries Inc. and of the Apparel Mart of Dallas. He received numerous medals for good conduct and the Air Force Commendation for Meritorious Service as assistant noncommissioned office in charge, Central Receiving Station, 31st Supply Squadron from Oct. 4, 1968-Aug. 16, 1969. He worked for the Louisiana Highway Department for 10 years and retired from the Gravity Drainage with 13 years of service. He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and VFW Post 9933.
