Burial will be in Southside Memorial Park under direction of Raphael and Son Funeral Home. She died at 10:32 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, in her residence. VIDRINE, Melvin LCAP 2/9/1999 OBERLIN -- Funeral arrangements for Melvin Vidrine, 49, of Jennings will be at 3 p.m. today, Feb. 9, in Oberlin Baptist Church. The Rev. John Guillot will officiate. Burial will be in Durio Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Mr. Vidrine died at 11:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in the Jennings hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Chiara Nicole Vidrine of Lake Charles and Ashlee Dawn Vidrine of Oakdale; one sister, Mrs. Glenda Squibb of Jennings; his stepfather and mother, Benny Martin and Mrs. Mable F. Martin, both of Jennings; and one grandson. VIDRINE, Ruby LCAP 6/4/1999 JENNINGS -- Funeral services for Ruby Vidrine, 72, will be at 10:30 a.m. today, June 4, in Matthews and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Mitchell Gotte will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Vidrine. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Mrs. Vidrine died at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, in the Jennings hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Jennings. Survivors include her husband, Wilfred Lee Vidrine of Jennings; one son, Lynn Vidrine of Jennings; two daughters, Mrs. Ervin (Linda) Trahan of Jennings and Mrs. Gerard (Charlotte) Naquin of Franklin; one brother, Ernest Brown of Iowa, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Martha) Schexnider and Mrs. Bertha Schexnider, both of Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. VINCENT, Thozime -- 5/26/1999 LAKE ARTHUR -- Funeral services for Thozime Vincent, 71, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 27, from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. The Rev. Maurice Marineau will officiate. Burial will be in Shell Beach Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10 a.m. today, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Vincent died at 1:24 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 1999, in the Jennings hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ella Authement Vincent; five sons, Allen Vincent of Iowa, Wilbert and C.J. Vincent, both of Lake Arthur, and Henry and Johnny Vincent, both of Sulphur; five daughters, Rosa Perry of Westlake, Marie King of Jasper, Texas, Betty Vincent of Lake Arthur and Linda Lyons and Sarah East, both of Carlyss; two brothers, Severin Vincent of Lake Arthur and Manson Vincent of Grand Chenier; six sisters, Lovina Vincent of Jennings, Dorothy Broussard of Lake Arthur, Loretta Gary of Sulphur, Helena Logue of Iowa, Bernice Bunch of Westlake and Agnes Rougeau of Duson; 41 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
