The Rev. Steve Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Sunday. Mrs. Impastato died Friday, April 6, 2001, in her residence. She was a native of Elton and had lived in Moss Bluff for 54 years. She was the former co-owner and operator of C&A Cafe in Moss Bluff, and she was retired department store sales clerk. She was a member of the American Business Women LaFalaise Chapter, AARP and the VFW Post 9933 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Resurrection Life Church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Barbara) McCain Jr. of Castro Valley, Calif., and Mrs. Edward (Debbie) Hyatt, Mrs. Jeffrey (Renee) Comeaux, Mrs. Brian (Cindy) Benoit and Mrs. Robert (Toni) Impastato, all of Moss Bluff; one brother, A.J. Mrs. Istre died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2001, in the local hospital. She was a native of the Rayne area and lived most of her life in Jennings. Janise — 3/24/2001 WELSH — Funeral services for Roland Lee "Brud" Janise, 52, will be at 1 p.m. today, March 24, in Hixson Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation is from 8 a.m. A rosary was recited Friday evening. Mr. Janise died Thursday, March 22, 2001, in a Lafayette hospital. He was a native of Jennings and had lived in Welsh for many years. He was an operation specialist for Chevron. He was Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Janise of Welsh; one son, Robert Blane Janise of Welsh; two daughters, Sherry Janise Bourque of Rayne and Tammy Janise Edmonson of Welsh; two sisters, Linda Janise of Jennings and Sandra Papania of Lake Charles; his mother, Youlande B. Mr. Jenkins died at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in a local hospital. He was a native of Welsh. He lived in Gardena, Calif., for 35 years and returned to Welsh 12 years ago. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was a member of the Mount Triumph Baptist Church for 50 years where she was a choir member, choir director and a member of the Sunshine Band. She was a charter member of the Rosebud Chapter 45 of Jennings. She was a graduate of Houston Tillison University. She was an educator for 37 years in the school system. Burial was in Lacassine Cemetery in Lacassine. Mr. Johnson died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001. He was a native of Lake Charles and a longtime resident of the Lacassine area. She was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where she served as a deaconess, usher, treasurer, Sunday school and BTU teacher and church mother, and served on the mission board and pastor's aide committee. She employed by Mom's Cajun Kitchen for a number of years as the head cook. Survivors include five daughters, Darlene Smith and Barbara Jones, both of Ft. Worth, Bertha McGee and June Champion, both of Baton Rouge, and Raynetta Richard of Jennings; five sons, John Elton Joseph of Los Angeles, Arthur Joseph and Jerome Joseph, both of Jennings, Raymond Joseph of Ft. Worth and Ronald Joseph Sr. of Lake Charles; 33 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Mary L. She lived in Lacassine for 21 years and moved to Kinder five years ago.
