Fontenot Moss Bluff - Clyde J. Fontenot, 91, died Sept 11, 2004, in his residence. He was born in Rayne and lived in Jennings most of his life. Full obit in LCAP Sept 13, 2004 Peter Freeman (LCAP) 6-4-04 Peter Freeman, 72, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in a Lafayette hospital. He was born in Ville Platte, and he lived most of his life in Lake Charles before moving to Elton several years ago. Survivors include three brothers, Willis Freeman and Roger Freeman, both of Lake Charles, and Charley Free­man of Elton; four sisters, Lorena Cole of Kinder, Ceelin Williams and Mary Nell Mallett, both of Elton, and Irene Adams of Houston; and a number of nieces and nephews. His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, in Fondel Memorial Chapel of Kinder. The Rev. Franklin E. Fondel Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery in Elton. Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday. Floyd Joseph Fruge Jennings - Floyd J. Fruge, 67, died Nov 9, 2004. Full Obituary in LCAP Dec 1, 2004 Section A; Pg. 2 Thelma Margret Fruge (LCAP) 6-12-04 Thelma Margret Fruge, 80, died Friday, June 11, 2004, in her residence. She was a native of Hathaway and a lifelong resident of the Lake Charles area. She had been a manager for One Hour Martinizing for 15 years. She will be remembered as a person with a unique personality who could always make people laugh. Survivors include three sons, Daniel Fruge and wife, Lisa, of Houston, TX, Charles Fruge and wife, Mitzi, of Maurice, and Ronald Fruge and wife, Mary, of Jennings; two daughters, Mary Pollard and husband, Paul, of Lake Charles, and Pat Abshire of Lake Charles; three sisters, Edna McComb of Lake Charles, Mildred Hopkins of Tupelo, MS, and Velma Arabie of Lake Charles; 20 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodgers Fruge; and a daughter, Judith Faye Fruge. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13, in Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. The Rev. will officiate. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today with a rosary service at 6 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Sunday in the funeral home.
