MRS. CHARLES (SUSAN STEWART) FOX, JR.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles (Susan Stewart) Fox, Jr., 66,
were held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2007 in the First
United Methodist Church of Lake Arthur with Rev. Susan Pugh
officiating.

Mrs. Fox died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 in the
Lafayette General Hospital.

She was a native of Houma and a resident of Milton for 23 years
since moving there from Lake Arthur.

She was a graduate of the Lake Arthur High School, class of 
1958. She attended Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL).

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Charles H. Fox, Jr. of 
Milton; one daughter, Jenny Fox Broussard and husband, Kevin of 
Anahuac, Texas; three sons, Marvin Fox and wife Terry of 
Damascus, Arkansas, Troy Fox of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jeff Fox 
and his wife Lisa of Lake Arthur; ten grandchildren, Jeremy
Broussard, Jeffrey Fox, Kaitlin Broussard, Elizabeth Fox,
Daniel Fox, Jared Broussard, Sarah Fox, Eric Fox, Tracy 
Broussard, and Travis Olson Fox; two great grandchildren, 
Dillinger Broussard and Vivian Broussard; and her extended
family, Susan Aymond, Jess Monceaux, Susan Gallien, Pearl
Vincent, and David Lawter.

Burial was in the Lakeview Cemetery under direction of Miguez
Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.

Oscar Joseph Fruge

Funeral services were held for MSGT Oscar Joseph Fruge, USAF, 
Retired, age 88. Mr. Fruge died September 26, 2009 at his home
in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born September 7, 1921 in Gueydan, to August and Aditha
(Mouton) Fruge.

He served in the US Army during World War II in the European
theatre.

After the war, he worked in Oklahoma for a while and then
enlisted in the US Air Force, serving over 28 years combined 
service retiring in 1969 at Edwards AFB, CA.
