Rites Held For Thornwell Child
Clifford Earl Benoit, 2 years, 10 month old son of Mr. & Mrs. Alec
Benoit of Thornwell, died at 12:30 a.m. in a Lafayette hospital
Saturday.

Services were held at 9:30 this morning in the Thornwell Catholic
church with the Rev. Van Bee officiating. Burial was in Andrus
Cove Cemetery, Segura Funeral Home in charge.

Surviving besides his parents are three brothers, Dennis Wayne, 
Michael James, and David Carrol, and one sister, Donna Lynn.

Also surviving are his paternal grandfather, Marshall Benoit of 
Lake Charles and his maternal grandfather, Leo Abshire of Lake
Arthur.
