All rights reserved. http://theusgenweb.net/copyright.htm ~~~~~~~~~ Services scheduled for Dennis JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Jackson Dennis, 101, will be at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 3, in Miguez Funeral Home. The Revs. Clyde W. Averett and Jimmy Dobson will officiate. Interment will be in the Jennings Mausoleum. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Mrs. Dennis died at 1:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 1993, in the Welsh hospital. A native of Muir, Mont., she moved to Jennings 65 years ago from Port Arthur, Texas. She was in charge of making bandages for the Red Cross during World War II. She was a former member of the Women's Literary Club and the Little Theatre Group, and was an active member of the Jennings Carnegie Public Library Board for 30 years. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Edward R. (Anita) Gill of Jennings; two sons, Robert E. (Bob) Dennis of Jennings and Creighton Dennis of Rolling Hills, Calif.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
