Harwell, the former Mable Stable Martin, of Lake Arthur died Thursday at 6 p.m. in Jennings American Legion hospital where she had been a patient for two days. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lake Arthur Methodist church. The Rev. Jack Winegeart will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Lake Arthur. Mrs. Hartwell will lie in state at the Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings until 9 a.m. Saturday at which time she will be taken to the church. Survivors include two sons, Bernard and Maynard of Lake Arthur, and three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Brown and Mrs. Archie Hollister, of Lake Arthur and Mrs. Gordon Hardee of Gillis. She is also survived by a brother Peter Martin of Lake Arthur, and 12 grandchildren. She was a resident of Lake Arthur for 20 years and a member of the Lake Arthur Methodist Church. She was born April 24, 1891 in Rebert's Cove, Acadia parish.
