Andrew Royer Passes Sunday, Services Today
Service for Andrew Royer, 74, will be held this afternoon at the
Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Maurice Aguillard and the Rev.
Eddie Savoie will officiate.

Mr. Royer died Sunday morning at 2:45 at the American Legion
hospital shortly after being admitted. Services will be held at 
2 p.m. with burial at Greenwood cemetery, Miguez Funeral Home in
charge.

He is survived by his wife, the former Leontine Hanks; four sons,
all of Jennings, Wilfred, Willis, Elton, and Louis; and three
daughters, Mrs. Abbie Cormier of Lake Charles, Mrs. I.B. Allford
of Natchitoches and Mrs. O'Neal Meche of Jennings.

Also surviving are one brother, Edgar, of Rayne; 30 grandchildren
and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Royer was born in Rayne, in September of 1884. He has lived in
Jennings 21 years, moving here from Mermentau.
