All rights reserved. http://theusgenweb.net/copyright.htm ~~~~~~~~~ Sims service slated today JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Dauphine ''Josephine'' Taylor Sims, 105, will be at 8 p.m. today, April 7, in Christ Sanctified Holiness Church. Bishop K.C. Gassaway will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Cemetery under direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel of Jennings. A wake will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the church. Dismissal will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, at the church. Mrs. Sims died at 9:08 p.m. Friday, April 5, 1991, in a local care center.She was a native of Grand Coteau and lived most of her life in Jennings where she was one of the oldest residents. She was a member of Christ Sanctified Holiness Church where she was a Mother of the church and a member of the Senior Mission Board and Pastor's Aid Club. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Wilda Gardiner of Lake Charles; one sister, Mrs. Ophelia Chavis of Jennings, 12 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 92 great-great-grand-children and four great-great-great-grandchildren.
