Stowits May 16, 1902 The Jennings Daily Record. (Jennings, La.) 1900-1903, May 19, 1902, Image 1 Death of Fred Stowits. Mrs. Will Deimer went to Beaumont last Thursday to see her brother and some of his family who were ill with typhoid fever. Her brother, Fred Stowits, succumbed to the disease on Friday night last. He leaves a wife, three children, a mother, brother and sister to mourn his loss. The deceased was highly thought of by a large circle of acquaintances, and previous to his residence at Beaumont lived at New Iberia.
