FONTENOT -- HARDY

A very pretty wedding occured Monday afternoon Aug. 23rd at the Catholic church 
whh [sic] Mr. J. E. Fontenot and Miss Eliza Hardy were united in the bonds of 
holy wedlock, Rev. J. P. Ferret performing the ceremony. The Groom is the second 
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Fontenot who lives near Welsh and is a very prosperous 
young farmer. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Etienne Hardy of the 
Ardoin Cove, who gave a reception to the newly married couple. The Journal 
extends congratulations and best wishes.
