Rigues, Esq., met with a severe accident, whilst hunting by the bursting of one of the barrels of his gun, which shattered two of the small fingers of his left hand. Dr. Hopkins was immediately called upon and amputated the shattered fingers, and we learn at the present time the young man is doing well.
