Mr. Richard and Dr. George Azar, coroner, investigated, but no inquest was necessary. According to Richard, Mr. Aguillard left his home about 5:30 o’clock and walked approximately one block; sat on the sidewalk, removed his shoes; and pulled the trigger of the gun with his toes. No reason for his act could be given, but his wife said he had been feeling badly for the past two weeks and had an appointment yesterday with a physician in Ville Platte. Funeral services will be held in Eunice. The deceased is survived by his wife and two daughters.
