Fatal Difficulty
     Sheriff Lacoste Last week arrested Fernest Savoy charged with assault upon 
Theard Baudoin, said to have been committed at a ball given by Firmen Duhon 
near Royville.  It is said that a difficulty had occurred between the men and that 
after it was over Baudoin went in and sat by a window and then Savoy 
approached from the outside and struck him on the head with a heavy whip 
handle, Baudoin was knocked unconscious and has since died.  Savoy claims he 
can establish and alibi.
