(Vermilionville [i.e. Lafayette, La.] June 17, 1913, page 1 Died. - Horace Broussard, a well known citizen of this city died at his residence in McComb addition Friday at 11 p.m., aged 65 years. He was a native of this parish and engaged in farming all of his life until about 15 years ago when he moved to Lafayette. He was a good man, honest and charitable, and had the respect and esteem of a large circle of friends. He married Miss Alicia Dugas. They had one child, Mrs. Ralph Duhon of Crowley, who with her mother, survives him. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Alex T. Broussard, Mrs. L.G. Breaux, Mrs. Treville Breaux, Mrs. Jules Duhon, Mrs. Alfred D. Breaux.
