   Just as we go to press we receive the sad intelligence of the death 
of two old and highly respected citizens.  Gen. Alexandre Etinne DeClouet 
died at his residence, near Lafayette, June 26th, age 78 years.  
Mrs. Pierre Dugas died at Oroville, California, Thursday, June 20th.
