DIED
    Died at his home in Lafayette parish on Friday the 1st instant, NARCISSE 
DUGAS, at the age of 70 years.  
     Deceased was on of our oldest and most highly respected citizens and left 
a number of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.  His remains were 
followed to their last resting place by a great concourse of people.
     The Advertiser extends its sympathies to the members of the afflicted family.
