JULES DUHON. - Mrs. Jules Duhon, nee Miss Parestine [sic] Broussard, died at her late residence near Scott at 4:55 Tuesday afternoon, at the age of 88 years. Mrs. Duhon was the widow of the late Jules Duhon, a prominent planter, whose death occurred about 12 years ago. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Alex Boudreau, Mrs. R. L. Foreman and Mrs. Belizere Morvant, all of Lafayette parish, Mrs. Ugnis Thibodeaux, of St. Martin parish, Mrs. Samuel Jackson, of Vinton, La., and Mrs. Auguste Dominque of Hull, Texas; one son, Simon Duhon, of Lafayette parish; two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Breaux amd Mrs. Theophile Breaux, both of Lafayette parish; 40 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were announced for this afternoon at 5 o'clock at St. peter's and St. Paul's Catholic church at Scott. Funeral arrangements are in charge of A. A. Crouchet, with the Dauterive Undertaking company.
