Alcide Duhon, 60 - year-old resident of the Second Ward of Lafayette parish died at his home this morning at 4:10. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic church at Scott at 9:30 a.m. The funeral cortege will leave the late residence at 9:00 o'clock and interment will be made in the Catholic cemetery. Surviving the deceased are his widow, nee Elizabeth Duhon; seven daughters, Mrs. Joseph Credeur of Acadia parish; Mrs. Gerard Foreman; Mrs. Wilson Stutes; Mrs. Wessley Guidry; Mrs. Eddy Domingue; and Misses Aclida; and Florence Duhon; four sons, Hector, Rene, Duhart, and Noah Duhon; one brother, Dolze Duhon all of Lafayette parish; 15 grand-children also survive. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Crouchet and Guchereau with the Dauterive Undertaking Co. Inc.
