(Lafayette, LA) Tuesday, April 30, 1929, page 10 DESIRE DUHON DIES HERE; FUNERAL TO BE ON WEDNESDAY. - The death of Desire Duhon occurred here this morning at 6:45, at the age of 32 years. Funeral services are to be held at 10:00 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. John's Cathedral. Mr. Duhon served in the Army during the World War and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his widow, nee Elmire Guilbeau; a small daughter, Geraldine; six sisters, Mrs. Amelina Broussard, and Miss Solange Duhon of this city, Mrs. Floyd Edwards and Miss Rose Duhon, of Abbeville, Mrs. Wesley Bienvenu, of Cade, and Mrs. Albert Provost, of Jeanerette; and three brothers, Henry and Louis P. Duhon, of this city, and Victor Duhon, of Abbeville. Rene Delhomme and Son are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
