      Death
  Died at his home near Carencro, Tuesday, June 27. 1904, at 11 a.m., Homer 
Durio, aged 40 years.  Mr. Durio was a prominent citizen of the sixth ward and 
had just closed a term as representive in the State Legislature.  He was a 
member of Lafayette Lodge No. 37, Knights of Pythias.
  Funeral services will be held in St. John’s Catholic church today at 11 a. m.
