Died, at her late residence near Royville, Thursday, Dec. 21, Mrs. H. M. Durke, 
aged 32 years, beloved wife of H. M. Durke, Esq. Mrs. Surke had been in failing 
health for some time previous to her death, but hopes were confidently 
entertained for her recovery. Pneumonia, however, attacked the weakened 
constitution and quickly proved fatal. The remains were interred in the 
Protestant cemetery Friday evening, Rev. C. C. Wier performing the funeral 
services. To the bereaved husband and children The Gazette extends sincere 
condolence and sympathy.
