The Lafayette Advertiser, Vermilionville, Louisiana, Saturday, November 26, 1870
     DIED--At this place on the 22d inst., M. NOEMIE GUILBEAU, wife of
Cha[rles?] Guilbeau, Esq., of Breaux Bridge-age 29 years.
     Again has the silver cord been loose and the golden bowl broken and one who
was the sunlight of a joyous and loving household has gone from among us never
again to gladden our hearts by the sunshine of her presence. Alas! That form on
which we loved to look lies but within the precincts of the tomb. And that sweet
voice (once so eloquent)....[rest of article is nearly completely indecipherable].
