Levy, departed this life during the night of the 11 th. instant, at the age of fifty-eight years. For many months she had been a patient sufferer with a most painful malady and bore her suffering with Christian fortitude and resignation until she passed away into that peaceful slumber that is so a sweet bourne to all burdened wayfarers. In the death of this good woman and devoted wife and mother this community loses a most valuable member, and to the disconsolate husband and children of Frimmet Plonsky, the sympathy of all is extended. Col 3 In Memoriam Died at her home in Lafayette, La. May 11, 1894, Frimmet Plonsky, wife of L. Levy, aged fifty-eight years. Mrs. Levy was born in Gullub, West Prussia, March 15, 1836; she came to New Orleans thirty years ago and while there became the wife of L. Levy. Soon after their marriage, they went to Grand Coteau and came to this place twenty five years ago where they have since resided. She was buried at Washington, La. Last Sunday morning at 9 o?clock, and followed to her grave by a large concourse of relatives and friends. The funeral services were read by D. Levy of Grand Coteau, and Heny Beudel, of Morgan City. Mrs. Levy was a devoted wife, and affectionate mother, a good neighbor and friend. She leaves behind her a husband and eight children to mourn her demise, the share the sympathies of our people in their sad hour of bereavement. A Brother-in-law
