Funeral Services Is Conducted Here For Mrs. Ovide Royer. - Many friends and 
acquaintances attended the funeral services conducted at St. John's Cathedral 
here Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock for Mrs. Ovide Royer, nee Marcelite 
Duhon, whose death occurred at her home in this city at 5:30 p. m. Monday. 
Interment took place in St. Johns Catholic Cemetery. There were many beautiful 
floral offerings.

Mrs. Royer is survived by a daughter, Miss Jennie Royer, of this city, an 
adopted son, Alex Broussard, also of Lafayette, and two brothers, O. Duhon and 
Alcide Duhon, residing in the Eighth Ward of this parish.
