DEATH CLAIMS MRS. E. VINCENT AT AGE OF 91.

YOUNGSVILLE, Nov. 28. - Mrs. Eloi Vincent, one of the pioneer residents of 
Lafayette parish, died at her home in the Ninth Ward Tuesday night, at the age 
of 91 years.

Mrs. Vincent, who before her marriage, was Marie Rheime Simon, had resided in 
the Ninth Ward all of her life. Her death followed a long illness.

Funeral services for Mrs. Vincent, who was a devout Catholic, were conducted at 
the Catholic Church here Wednesday afternoon, by Reverend Father Rochard, and 
were very largely attended. Many beautiful floral offerings were received. 

Interment took place in the local Catholic cemetery.

The pallbearers were Robert Vincent, son of the deceased, and Clarence, Lawless 
and Dalton Vincent, Jos. Valot and Fred Hebert, grandsons.

Mrs. Vincent is survived by two sons, Theogene and Robert Vincent; and three 
daughters, Mrs. Sidonie Duhon, Mrs. Menace Vincent and Miss Emetelle Vincent.

The funeral arrangements were in charge of Rene Delhomme and Son, of Lafayette.
