He was born August 27, 1952 in New Orleans. Brian's maternal ancestry took his genealogical endeavors to Lafourche Parish but he didn't stop there. He extended his research to his paternal beginnings in Missouri. All of this information was housed in Brian's considerable website providing free genealogical information for all who needed it. Brian donated the web space that housed the La Societe des Cajun website in 2000 due to his dedication in preserving the South Lafourche area. Brian had put countless hours into maintaining and improving the overall look of the website so those that wanted to research the South Lafourche and Missouri area had a place to find information. I am personally thankful that I was able to work with such a dedicated person in trying to carry on the work that Robert "Bob" Looper had started. When Bob Looper, Velton Guidry and I set out to inventory the Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, Brian jumped in and pulled out his research books to help us with filling in the spouses, parents and dates so that we would have a cemetery table for Holy Savior. What a trooper and I appreciate all of his dedication to this effort and the effort of preserving the South Lafourche area's genealogy.
