By request I have transported myself to the house of Mr. Jean Baptiste Foret [son-in-law of Michel Bourgeois] to take an inventory and estimation of the property of Mr. Michel Bourgeois deceased. Commenced early in the morning. 1st ordered that Mr. Alexis Jolet and Mr. Joseph Arille be appointed assistant witnesses 2nd ordered that Mr. John Baptiste Usé and Mr. Joseph Rose be appointed estimators. The papers of the deceased being presented we commenced the examination of them as follows (viz) cash in hand $42. No. 1. A note of hand vs. Mr. Pierre Hache in favor of the deceased $27.50 No. 2 A note vs. Jacques Cantrelle which the heirs says is fifty two dollars $52 No. 3 A note vs. Michel Bourgeois fils the sum of $28 No. 4 A note vs. Pierre Pitre $20 No. 5 Mr. Jean Baptiste Foret owes the deceased $6.25 No. 6 Louis Bourgeois owes seventeen dollars Michel Bourgeois is security no note $17 No. 7 Joseph Martin owes $3.50 No. 8 Augustine Fontanours [?] owes $4 No. 9 Jean Bt.
