Given under my hand & public seal the Parish of Assumption the nine teenth day of July, eighteen hun dred & thirty three Bela Hubbard Parish judge Know all men by these presents, that on this seven- teenth day of august [sic], in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three, at three o'clock in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred in the afternoon, pursuant to a commission of the Hon. Bela Hubbard, judge of the parish of Assumption hereto annexed- I Pierre Daspit Judge of the Interior parish of Lafourche, assisted and accompanied by Andrew P. Skinner and Henry F. Knoblock, competent witnes- ses, both domiciled in the said parish, went to the abode of Auguste Roger, in the town of Thibodaux- ville, in the parish last aforesaid there to make an inventory and estimation of such of the property of the community which lately existed between Marie Marcellite Roger and Valery Exnicios, her husband deceased, to be found in the parish last aforesaid -- The said inventory is made upon the declaration under oath of the said Marie Marcellite Roger, and the appraisement is made by Marcel Falgout & Hono- re Champagne experts duly appointed and sworn by me, as follows. 1. A bay horse, appraised at twenty dollar $ 20oo 2. A horse (Cannalee) appraised at thirty dollar 30oo 3. A cow (Chotine) & her calf, appraised at four teen dollars 14oo 4. A certain parcel of a town lot situate in Thibodauxville, containing fifty feet square, bounded in front by a street separating the same from the lot of Vandewater, below by a street separating the same from the lot of Mathurin Bourg, and above land behind by the lot of Valery Roger, without any buildings appraised at three hundred and fifty dollars, 350oo Amount carried over 414 5. Three chairs, a grind stone and a water jar, appraised at three dollars & a half 3.50 Amount of appraisement $ 417.50 Due by Mathurin Bourg a sum not now exactly ascertained. Due by Divers the share of the deceased in the partnership claims of Bourg & Exnicios, a sum not now ascertained Due by Honore and Zephyrin Folse a sum of upwards of two hundred dollars. And nothing remaining to be comprised on this inventory, we have closed the same at four o'clock A. M.
