Cherita Carter is engaged to marry Byron Contrell Coleman at 6 p.m. Nov. 6 at 
St. Mark Baptist Church.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Elaine Carter of Thibodaux and Terry Ballard 
of Houston, Texas.

She is a 1998 graduate of Louisiana Technical College and Bryman College. She is 
employed by Presto Fuel Center.

The groom is the son of Estelle and the late Alton Coleman of Napoleonville.

He is employed by Seco Industries.
