The deceased, whose age was 30 years, was the son of Mr. Edgar Riviere and Louise Hoffmann, former residents of Thibodaux. He served for several years as postmaster at Schriever. While there he married Miss Harriet Morvant, who, with three children (the eldest six years and the youngest 3 months) survive him. The deceased was a employee of the New Orleans Railway and Electric Light Co. and he was an estimable person. His body was interred in New Orleans. ============================================================================ The Lafourche Comet, October 25, 1917 [Thursday], page 5, col. 1 Submitted by: Nancy Wright Gaston Aycock, Mrs. Gaston Aycock, Mes.
