Oscar Achee Dies

   Mr. Oscar Achee, aged 31 years, died yesterday (WEDNESDAY, 15 JAN 1919)  at 
11:50 A. M., he being a victim of the "Flu".  The deceased, who was a son of 
the late Jos. Achee, was well-known in baseball circles, being formerly the 
crack pitcher of the Thibodaux Grays.  During the past year, however, he has 
been employed in the office on Cedar Grove plantation, at Tallieu.

Louis Alphonse Bergeron

The body of Louis Alphonse Bergeron was brought to Thibodaux Friday (10 JAN ?), 
arriving here at about 10 o?clock at night, from Baton Rouge, for interment in 
St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.  The deceased, who is survived by his wife and 
children, was a son of the late Arthur Bergeron, who lived on Lagarde street, 
in Thibodaux,  He was also a brother of Mrs. O?Donnell, who lives near 
Lafourche Crossing, and Mrs. Elfer, who resides in New Orleans.

George Pickett 

Mr. George Pickett, who died Saturday (JAN 11, 1919) at his home near Lafourche 
Crossing, was buried Sunday (12 JAN) forenoon in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery.
