BARBARA ANN DANOS

The three-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Danos, Barbara Ann, was 
laid to rest at services Saturday [Nov 1948] at 3 p.m. in Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Church in Golden Meadow.  Interment was in Our Lady of Prompt Succor 
Cemetery.

The child died in New Orleans Friday [Nov 1948].  Her mother is the former 
Clara Gisclair.  She is survived also by four sisters: Rose Mary, Joycelyn, 
Audry, Clara Mae Danos.

Falgout Funeral home of Galliano was in charge.

HARRIS GUIDRY

Funeral services for 29 year old Harris Guidry were held Saturday at 3 p.m. in 
St. Joseph?s church at Galliano.  Interment followed in St. Joseph?s cemetery.

Guidry died in New Orleans last Thursday [Nov 1948] at 2 p.m.  He is survived 
by his wife, the former Beatrice Crochet; two children, Maryol and Ardold 
Guidry; his father, Avy Guidry of Cut Off; and a brother and sister, Howell 
Guidry and Mrs. Forest Terrebonne of Golden Meadow.  Falgout funeral home of 
Galliano was in charge.

MRS. ELVIN J. LEDET

Funeral services were held Friday at 9 a.m. for Mrs. Elvin J. Ledet, the former 
Alcidie Chouest in Our Lady of Prompt Succor church in Golden Meadow.  
Interment followed in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

Mrs. Ledet, 34, died at her residence Wednesday, November 17, [1948], at 7:30 
a.m.  She was the first treasurer of the Golden Meadow Parent Teachers 
association, and is survived by three children:  Betty Ann, Billie and Jackie 
Ledet.  Falgout funeral home of Galliano was in charge.

MRS. CLEOPHAS STEVEN

Funeral services were held yesterday at 9 a.m. for Mrs. Cleophas Steven, 56, in 
St. Joseph?s church here.  The former Angelle Hebert, she died at her residence 
in Lafourche Monday [Nov 1948] at 3 p.m.  Interment followed in St. Joseph?s 
cemetery

She is survived by her husband, three sons, Gilbert, Harris and Daniel Hebert.

The funeral took place from Landry?s funeral home here, and the Falgout funeral 
home of Raceland was in charge.

THEOPHILE WAGUESPACK

Final rites were conducted Friday for Theophile Waguespack, 89 in St. Mary?s 
church in Raceland at 9 a.m.  Interment was in St. Mary?s cemetery.

Waguespack, the son of the late Louis Waguespack and Hortense Gaude, died at 
his residence in Raceland Wednesday, November 17, [1948] at 11:15 p.m.  He is 
survived by a sister, Ozelia Waguespack.  Falgout funeral home of Raceland was 
in charge.
