May 4, 1981 Ada Knight Funeral services are scheduled for 9:45 Tuesday for Ada Knight Allemand, 78, who died at 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Religious services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland at 10 a.m. with interment in the church cemetery. She was the wife of the late Morris Allemand; mother of Robert Allemand; sister of Camille St. Pee, Elvira Chiasson and Mary Knight and late Lydia McDonald, Lucia Gerveis, Edna Pons, Ida Knight, Ellis Knight and Jim Knight. She is survived by two grandchildren. She was a resident of Raceland. Friends and relatives may call from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday. Religious services have been scheduled at the church for 11 a.m. Tuesday, with interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland. Visitation will be from 4-11 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday. She was the wife of Homer Boudreaux; daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Clement Gros; mother of Raymond Bourgeois, Mrs. Ernest (Ida) Bourgeois and Mrs. John (Jacqueline) Martin; stepmother of Mrs. Helen Joy Smith and Mrs. Francis Beverly Boudreaux. She was the sister of Mrs. Henrietta Landry, Mrs. Rose Clement, Mrs. Beatrice Gros, Mrs. Louis (Esther) Tauzin, Alvin Gros and the late Mrs. Alfreda Trosclair, Phillip and Wickless Gros. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
