Funeral services were held this morning at the Westside Funeral Home for Annie 
Chiasson Allemand, 88, a native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of Westwego, 
who died Saturday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

Burial was in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.

She was the mother of Mrs. Allen (Inez) Hebert and Mrs. Jacob (Eunice) 
Loyocano. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Valerie Allemand; a daughter, Mrs. 
Newton (Lioneze) Banquer; a son, Mitch Allemand; two brothers, Joseph Edgar and 
Hector Chiasson; a half-brother, Eugene Aucoin; two half-sisters, Aliee Barrios 
and Marie Orgeron; another parents, Alcide and Artimise Bourg Chiasson.

Charles A. Claudet

Funeral services from the Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey were held Saturday for 
Charles A. Claudet, 63, a native of Lockport and a resident of Gretna, who died 
Thursday at 6 p.m.

Interment was in Westlawn Memorial Park.

He was the husband of Rowena LeBlanc; father of Charles A. Jr., Nadine and 
Raymond Claudet; and the brother of Mrs. Bertha Mae Schipplien, Mary Louise 
Weimer, Theresa Cabellero and Minola Toups.

He is also survived by three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Delaune and Charles A. Claudet; 
and two brothers, Armond and Elmer Claudet.

Harold Howard

Wake and funeral services have been scheduled for 9 p.m. tonight at Bright 
Morning Star Baptist Church in Napoleonville for Harold Howard, 77, who died at 
6:20 a.m. Wednesday in Thibodaux.

Dismissal will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday with interment in Beautiful Zion Cemetery.

He was the husband of Genevieve Howard;, father of Jerry Howard; and the brother of 
Jerry Howard, Rufus Howard and Charlie Howard of Atlanta. Ga.

He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosa Lee Howard.

Napoleonville for Northern Johnson, 77, a native of Napoleonville, who died at 10:26 
p.m. Monday at his residence in Napoleonville.

Dismissal was this morning with burial in the church cemetery.

He was the father of Annie M. Lemmon and Cherry A. Johnson, both of Los Angeles, 
Calif., Joyce Joseph, Muncie, Ind., Rosemary Skidmore, Linda Guilfo, Barbara Taylor 
and Marlene E. Johnson, all of Napoleonville, the Rev. Mathern Johnson, 
Donaldsonville, Nilo Johnson, Houma, Lee Autry Johnson, Thibodaux, Augusta, Willie 
B., Roland and Ivory Johnson, all of Napoleonville; and the brother of Frances 
Lewis, Plattenville, and Moser Benjamin, Napoleonville.

He is also survived by 51 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine H. Johnson.

He was the father of Fran, Jasper and Steve Lewis, all of Napoleonville; and the 
brother of Violet Terry and Estelle Johnson, both of Napoleonville.

Cathedral for Lucille Robichaux Riviere, 84, a native and resident of Thibodaux, 
who died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

in Thibodaux.

She was the sister of O.C Robichaux, Helosie Hebert and Katherine Hoffmann.

23, a lifelong resident of Raceland, who died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

He was the husband of Zenia Sylvester Lawson; son of Alfred and Melvina Lawson; 
brother of Linda Brown, Sarah Lawson, Larry, Bernell and Floyd Lawson, all of 
Raceland, Alfred Lawson Jr., Seattle, Wash., and Clarence; Lawson, Germany; and 
the grandson of Clarence Gray.

Chauvin for Mrs. Emsey Rhodes Bourg Robichaux, 80, a native of Montegut and resident 
of Chauvin, who died Monday at 4:15 p.m.

She is survived by two sons, Noland and Albert Bourg; two daughters Mrs. Thomas 
(Anna Mae) LeBoeuf and Mrs. Lee (Rita) Lapeyrouse; three stepsons, Leo Bourg, 
Gilbert and Elgin Robichaux; three step-daughters Mrs. Adam (Lucille) Acosta, 
Mrs. Magnus (Lucinda) Hutchinson and Mrs. Emelda Robichaux; two half sisters, 
Mrs. Gelpi (Theresa) Pellegrin and Mrs. Clifford (Leola) Domangue; one brother, 
Clarence Rhodes and two half brothers Preston and Roy Rhodes.

She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and a great-great-
grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, Zenon Bourg; two stepsons, Bagley and Harry 
Robichaux; a daughter Lena Bourg; a step-daughter, Virginia Soudelier; a sister, 
Stevia Rhodes Pinell her parents Irma Domangue and Steve Rhodes; her husband , 
Louis Robichaux and her first husband Zenon Bourg; her stepmother Lillian Rhodes.

Clothilde A. Peltier, 93 a native and resident of Thibodaux who died Tuesday.

During her youth, Mrs. Peltier received a high school education at Mount Carmel 
High School in Thibodaux, a college education at Louisiana State Normal School (now 
Northwestern Louisiana University) and attended the Touro School of Nursing.

At 20 years old, she was a single woman with a choice of two careers, one in 
education and another in nursing.

She was married to the late Sidney Peltier and had one daughter, Eloise. Mrs. 
Peltier was the organizer and longtime volunteer for the Lafourche Parish Chapter 
of the American Red Cross and charter member of Court Anna Maria No. 993 Catholic 
Daughters of the Americas. Through work with parent-teacher organizations, she 
spearheaded the establishment of the hot lunch program in the Lafourche Parish 
Schools.

Mrs. Peltier was also instrumental in establishing the first public library in 
the city while she was a member of the Thibodaux Woman's Club.

This achievement earned her the right to be called "Mother of the Thibodaux 
Library System."

He was the husband of Daisy W. Harris; father of Marva Walker and Iris Shanal 
Harris, both of Schriever; and the brother of James Harris Jr., Triangle, Va.,

Thibodaux.

He is also survived by three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Harris Sr.; a sister,

Larose for Mabel Emelie Ledet, 73, a native of Point-au-Chien and a resident of 
Lockport, who died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at Raceland.

She was the wife of Adam Ledet; mother of Jimmy Ledet, Mrs. Andrew Uzee, Betty 
Fitch, Helen Myers and Hilda Pennison; and the sister of Nicholas Naquin, Amay 
Guidroz and Bernice Naquin and the late Gustave, Ernest, Zelma and Willie Naquin.

She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

native of Meadville, Miss., and a resident of Port Arthur for 52 years, who died

He was the husband of Mildred Naquin Mitchell, formerly of Thibodaux and now a

He was the father of Maxine Bradford, Metairie, Jane Voorhies of Jefferson, Sidney
