He is survived by two sons, Bruno and Walter "White" Blanchard, both of Pierre Part; a sister, Mrs. Armance Blanchard Giroir, Klotzville; a brother, Kennedy Blanchard, Brusly-St. Vincent; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Albertine Hebert Blanchard; parents, Emile and Amy Theriot Blanchard; and a grandson, Larry Blanchard. He was the chairman of the Crippled Children Society, the Junior Red Cross and the Lafourche Chapter of the American Red Cross.
