Catholic Church, White Castle, for Florence Falcon Barbay, 76, a native of 
White Castle and a resident of Baton Rouge, who died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Interment is in White Castle Mausoleum.

She was the daughter of Emma Himel Falcon; mother of Mrs. Thomas (Priscilla) 
Bourgeois, Baton Rouge; and sister of Mrs. Kate Clement, Thibodaux, and Mrs. 
Genevieve Dugas. White Castle. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Barbay; and her father, 
Sabin Falcon.

Hattie LeBlanc

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church in 
Napoleonville for Hattie Coleman LeBlanc, 90, a native of Belle River and a 
resident of Napoleonville, who died at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

She was the mother of Eddie LeBlanc of Houma, Charles LeBlanc and Ruby 
Boudreaux of Napoleonville, Hattie Bahry of Donaldsonville, Pearl LeBlanc and 
Ann Ford of Metairie, Mable Martin of Baton Rouge, Inez Blanchard of 
Paincourtville, Aline Schillaci, Philip, Maurice and Authur LeBlanc; and sister 
of Bertha Brizzard and Mary Aucoin. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 
56 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Emile LeBlanc; parents, 
Walter and Mary Moralis Coleman; brothers, C.W., Banner and Phil Coleman; and 
sisters, Lydia Hebert and Nettie Coleman.

Home Chapel, Thibodaux, for Ernest "Red" Boudreaux, 51, a native of Thibodaux 
and a resident of Choctaw, who died at 1:30 a.m. today.

Visitation is scheduled from 5-10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until funeral time 
Tuesday at the funeral home.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, 
Thibodaux

He was the husband of Margaret Cape Ho Boudreaux; father of Natalie Boudreaux 
Larose; son of Marie Lirette Boudreaux; and brother of Levi, Raymond Charles 
and Nolan Boudreaux, Rose Mary Delatte and Angelina Delatte.  He is also 
survived by two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dolien Boudreaux, and brothers, Russel 
and George Boudreaux.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elmire Domingue Diaz, second wife,

Diaz; son, Milton Diaz; brother, Theodule Diaz; and sisters, Lemma Diaz and 
Marie Thibodeaux.

Sutherland, Earl, Albert, Bernard, Marsden and Lester Geason of St. James; and 
brother of Florence Gautreaux of St. James. He is also survived by 30 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Victoria Geason; son Ernest 
Geason Jr.; sister, Mable Geason; and brother, Robert Geason Jr.

church in Des Allemands for Pierre Dufrene Jr., 92, a native of Bayou Couba and 
resident of Des Allemands, who died Wednesday at 8:45 p.m.

Interment was in the Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands.

He was the father of Walterine Comardelle, Winnie McCully, Dessi Burson, Vonnie

also survived by 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucia Authement Dufrene; parents, Pierre and 
Rosa Frickey Dufrene; a daughter, Eula Mae Dufrene; brothers, Horace, Hector, 
Victor, Julian and Joseph Dufrene; and sisters, Estelle Carmadelle and Helen 
Matherne.

112-year old Thibodaux man dies

Louis Robertson

Clean living, positive thinking and hard work were what helped Thibodaux 
resident Louis Robertson to live to be 112 years old, according to one of his 
112 grandchildren.

Robertson died Sunday after having lived through the events most of us have only 
read about in history books. He was born Sept. 28, 1876 on Magnolia Plantation in 
Terrebonne Parish during the end of the Civil War Reconstruction era.

As a young boy he lived and worked on the plantation along with his parents, 
ten brothers and three sisters.  His sister, Ms. Lavinia Blackledge is his only 
surviving sibling.

Robertson also worked on other plantations in Lafourche Parish, plowing, 
setting and cutting the sugar cane. He said in a 1986 magazine article the job 
he enjoyed the most was being a "bolster," the person who loaded the sugar cane 
into wagons or cars of the plantation railroad.

He retired from plantation work in the early 1940s to his own house and garden 
plot in the Johnson Ridge area of Schriever. He lived there until 1974 when he 
moved to Thibodaux to live with his daughter, Ceola Fletcher

Robertson returned to Johnson Ridge often to attend services at Morning Star 
Baptist Church where he had been a member since 1916

He also served with the deacons in the church until the time of his death

Robertson's granddaughter Shuhuada Ra-oof said her grandfather was a beautiful, 
kind man "His motto was, If you can't be yourself and do it right don't do 
anything at all." she said.

Twice widowed, Robertson was the father of nine children. He is survived by his 
sister, Lavinia Blackledge; his daughter, Ceola Kletcher and his daughter in-
law, Christine Robertson. He is also survived by approximately 112 
grandchildren, 97 great-grandchildren and 73 great-great-grandchildren. He is 
also survived by a great number of other relatives and friends.

Wake services will be held Friday night at 8 p.m. at the Morning Star Baptist 
Church on Johnson Ridge. The funeral service will also be at the church at noon 
on Saturday. Interment will be in the Livas Cemetery on Johnson Ridge.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Williams and Southall Funeral 
Home in Thibodaux.

He was the husband of Anna Delcambre Boudreaux; father of Mrs. Guy (Kathleen) 
Delatte, Kela, Tobey and Timothy Boudreaux; son of Aladoria Hodge Boudreaux; and 
brother of Mrs. Clarence (Eula Mae) Gisclair and Adam Boudreaux Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father, Adam Boudreaux; and sister, Mrs. Wilton

Church, New Orleans, for Lelia Granier Fabre, 86, a native of Vacherie and a 
resident of New Orleans, who died at 5:15 a.m. Sunday.

Interment is in St. Roch Cemetery No. 2.

She was the mother of Bessie M. Falgout, Pearl M. Fitch, Dot M. Scurlich, John Jr. 
and Will Fabre; and sister of William Granier, Odiana Weber, Beatrice Hebert and ; 
Elsie Acosta. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-  
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband. John M. Fabre Sr.; a son, Roy Fabre; a 
daughter, Mary Ann Babin; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Honora Granier; brothers, Ignace, 
Horace, Wilson and Arcelia Granier; and sisters, Idee Matherne, Alicia Schexnayder 
and Antoinette Hebert.

Galathea Sonier and Beverly Baudoin of Gray. He is also survived by four 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovince and Edna Gaudet Sonier; and 
brother, Sidney Sonier.

He was a veteran of World War II.

sister, Ava Fonseca; 14 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and 30 great-
great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Davis Adams and by her second 
husband. Augustin Rodrigue. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Phillip 
and Morris Adams; one daughter, Armus Sylva and one sister, Ida Kiff.
