Visitation is 3-10 p.m. today at the church. Interment is in the Westlawn Cemetery. He was the husband of Eunice Marie Grabert Bye; father of Mrs. Sam (Alice) Fanara, Ruben Bye, Mrs. Rodney (Edna) Lefort and Sylvia Czop; brother of Clifton Bye and Ella Faret. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre Bye and Elmire Orgeron; brothers, Johnny Bye, Sam Bye, and Gillis Bye; and sister, Bella Breaux.
