She was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Mouton; and a brother, Elliott Joseph Mouton. Sister Jude was in the 36th year of her religious profession as a Sister of Mount Carmel. She entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Sept. 5, 1954. She received the habit of the Sisters of Mount Carmel and became Sister Jude Aug. 3, 1955. On Aug. 1, 1957, she made her first profession and pronounced perpetual vows Aug. 6, 1962. During her years dedicated to the ministry of education, Sister Jude taught at St. Joseph Elementary in Thibodaux and St. Elizabeth in Paincourtville. She also received a master of Education degree from Nicholls State University in 1972. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Mistilis. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oxford, Miss., and Eastern Star. She was past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star and former Grand Worthy Matron of the State of Mississippi Eastern Star. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women Club and Pilot Club. Waller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. ===================== Educator, city official dies at 76 JUNE PEREIRA MOORE, a former Lafourche Parish teacher who had a distinguished career in education and held municipal government post in Mermehtau and Jennings died on Dec. 29 after an extended illness. She was 76. She is survived by her husband, Guillian Moore Jr. of Mermentaa; daughter June Moore Foiani of Los Cruces, New Mexico; son Billy Moore of Ruston; sister Lois Black Benton of Homer; and brother, Abe Pereira of Raceland. She has 6 grandchildren. Moore's community services included mayor of the village of Mermentau, alderman for the city of Jennings and state president of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Her career was education.
