He was the son of Alice Choat Vaughan; father of Wilton Jr. and Rickey Vaughan Sr. and Debbie Vaughan Danos; brother of Harvey Vaughan and Adrien Dosher. He is also survived by four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorita Boudreaux Vaughan; father, Wallace Vaughan; two sons, Kelly and Kent Vaughan; and a sister, Anna Mae Bouffanie.
