Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano is in charge of arrangements. ============================= Hubert Lafargue Hubert Lafargue died Sunday, Feb. 6, 1994 Lafargue, 87, was hospitalized in Shreveport at the Veteran's Administration Hospital. He retired from the United States Air Force after 34 years. His duties took him to World War II, Germany, Alaska and the Pentagon. Lafargue was sworn in as Lafourche Parish's district attorney in November 1948 and practiced law with the late Sen. Harvey Peltier. Lafargue was valedictorian of his class at Louisiana State University and received the Order of the Coif award at Tulane University where he received his law degree in 1934. Lafargue is survived by his brother Lloyd Lafargue of Shreveport and a sister, Mary Porche of San Antonio, Texas.
