Paincourtville for Elsie Rivere Cavalier, 68, a native of Bruly-St. Vincent and 
resident of Bruley, who died at 3:06 p.m. Sunday, May 1.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at 
Landry's Funeral Home in Napoleonville.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was the wife of Clement Cavalier; mother of Jessie and Ethel Rodrigue, 
Angella Dupre, Mary Ann Calvaruso, Mary Lee Morris and Sherry McCurley Brewer; 
sister of Olive Russo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudloph and Elsie Savoy Rivere; a 
daughter, Martha Rodrigue; and three brothers, Murphy, Rudolph Jr. and Mervin 
Rivere.

Catholic Church in Lockport for Marie Louise Foret, 38, a native and resident 
of Lockport, who died at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, May 1.

Interment was in Holy Savior Mausoleum.

She was the wife of Craig A. Foret; mother of Clint Foret; daughter of Audrey 
Ordoyne Turner and Richard A. Bourgeois, step-daughter of Buddy W. Turner and 
Viola Autin Bourgeois; sister of Lisa B. Alario and John, David and Richard C. 
Bourgeois.

She was a parishioner of Holy Savior and a member of the Central Lafourche High 
School Booster Club.

Catholic Church in Cut Off for Louis "Lou" Joseph Mayet, 57, a native and 
resident of Cut Off, who died at 5:38 p.m. Sunday, May 1.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

He was the husband of Joyce Terrebonne Mayet; father of Ward and Jody Mayet and 
Stacy Hebert; son of Nancy Cretini Mayet; brother of Mary Smith and Nathan 
Mayet. He is also survived by one grandchild

He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Mayet.

A religious service took place at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church 
in Napoleonville for Richard Barrio Sr., 66, a native and resident of 
Assumption Parish, who died May 2 at Thibodaux Hospital and Health Centers.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

He was the husband of Lillie Rose Joseph Barrio; father of Loretta Barrio of 
Tulsa, Okla., Richard Barrio Jr. of Houma, Richard Holly of Boutte, Paula, 
Genine and Nikki Barrio and Vivian Jupiter, all of Napoleonville; grandfather 
of Christopher K. Barrio (whom he raised) of Napoleonville; brother of 
Florestine Comeaux of Belle Rose. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Melvina Nash Barrio; two 
sisters, Bertha Jones and Gertrude Burdis; and four brothers, Henry Barrio, 
Willie, Raymond and Melvin Jones.

She was the mother of Gerry Bourgeois and Margaret Chauvin, both of Houma and 
Judith Benoit of Carthage, Miss.; sister of Georgia Danos of Raceland. She is 
also survived by 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Francis Bourgeois Jr.; 
parents, Widley and Francis Robicheaux Grabert; a son, James Bourgeois; and 
three brothers, Eugene, Hubert and Wilton Grabert.

Robert R. Prince, 51, a resident of Malakoff, Texas, who died May 2.

Prince Martinez, both of Austin, Texas; brother of Jester Prince of Oklahoma

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Addie Lou McDonald Prince;

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a former employee of East Texas Medical 
Center.

p.m. today at the church.

Dismissal will be 11 a.m. Saturday, and burial will be in Blue Lilly Cemetery.

She was the mother of Raymond Sr., Melvin, Henry and Lawrence Jackson Jr., Rose 
Lee Jones, Essie Mae Hartley and Lorraine Ellis. She is also survived by 13 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Jackson Sr.; parents, Arthur 
and Amelia Rounds; five brothers, Arthur Jr., Percy, Edward, Sidney and Welton 
Rounds; and three sisters, Ethel Joseph, Ruth Boykins and Lula Rounds.

She was a homemaker and a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church.

He was employed by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office as a deputy and the 
Town of Golden Meadow as a policeman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Meliean and Irene Plaisance, and a 
brother, Anthony Plaisance.

She was the mother of Johnny and Jimmy Vizier, Irene Callais and Gloria 
Labiche; sister of Antoine Guidry, Doris Curole, Nancy Callais and Mary Lou 
Phares. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Etienne and Marie Mobley Guidry; two 
sons, Leroy and Adam Vizier; a daughter, Kathleen Melancon; a brother, Paul 
Guidry; and four sisters, Leonia Gisclair, Rosia Griffin, Antoinette Rousse and 
Lelia Lorraine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Camille Legendre; parents,

Baton Rouge, who died Sunday, May 29.

Dismissal is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, and burial will be in the church 
cemetery.

He was the fiance of Darlene McCoy; son of Eddie Hadley Jr. of Raceland; father 
of Claude R. Hadley Jr. of Ramsteen, Germany, and Laura Lee Hadley of Raceland; 
brother of Tammy Celestine and Gertrude, Ronald and Bertrand Hadley, all of 
Raceland, Daniel Hadley of Wyoming, Jeffery Hadley of Texas, Emelda and Deidra 
Hadley, both of Ramsteen, Germany, and Ester and Angela Hadley, both of 
Lafayette. He is also survived by one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Davis Hadley; grandparents, Lem 
and Lovenia Davis and Eddie Sr. and Loretta Marts Hadley.

He was a Member of Morning Star Baptist Church of Raceland and Maceonia Baptist 
Church of Baton Rouge. He was a former member of House of Lord in Houma and 
Ricardson Chapel, Church in Christ of Baton Rouge.

Poitiers Catholic Church in Mathews for Mildred Caillouet Arabie, 80, a native 
of Mathews and resident of Raceland, who died at 2 a.m. Monday, May 30.

Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Raceland.

She was the mother of Ethlyn A. Brown of Thibodaux and Audrey A. Landry of 
Metairie; sister of Russell and George Caillouet, Mathile DeCarlo, Margaret 
Tripp and Annie Gauthreaux. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Arabie Jr.; parents Paul E. and 
Edna Morvant Caillouet; two brothers, Ferdinand and Donald Caillouet; and two 
sisters, Lena Rivet and Pauline Arabie.
