of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose for Victoria Savoie Curole, 78, a 
native and resident of Larose, who died at 2:40 p.m. Monday, August 1.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at the church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was the mother of Shaeffer A. Curole and Connie Cheramie, both of Larose, 
Dolores Lowery of Niceville, Fla., and Dinah Bradford of Lake Charles; sister 
of Daisy Duet and Thelma Danos. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 
seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Syriaque E. Curole; parents, Armand 
and Lucy Richoux Savoie; six brothers, Armand, Elix, Duffy, Steve, Neuves and 
Sidney Savoie; and two sisters, Beulah Trosclair and Cesla Adams.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.

Church in Napoleonville for Alvin "Shorty" LeBlanc, 59, a native of 
Napoleonville and resident of Thibodaux, who died at 12:05 a.m. Monday, August 
1.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Williams and Southall Funeral 
Home in Thibodaux and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Dismissal will be 11 a.m. Friday, and burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was the husband of Jerushia J. LeBlanc of Thibodaux; father of Narvalee L. 
Boyd, Pamela and Paulette Price and Beverly Washington; brother of Mary Louise 
and Andrew LeBlanc, both of Napoleonville, Wilbert LeBlanc of Belle Rose and 
Leslie Leblanc of Victorville, Calif. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Audolph and Idella LeBlanc.

He was a longtime employee of Williams and Southall Funeral Home.

He was the husband of Yvonne Theriot Hebert; father of Felix "Phil" Hebert Jr.

Pansy Cedatol, Marie Millet and Shirley Naquin. He is also survived by two 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Irma Blanchard Hebert; a 
brother, Robert Hebert; and four sisters, Pearl Simoneaux, Levie Cavalier, 
Mildred Leblanc and Mae Aucoin.

He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, a St. Elizabeth usher and a member of 
the Paincourtville Fire Department.

Catholic Church in Vacherie for Fernand "Fuel" Schexnayder, 77, a native and 
resident of Vacherie, who died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 3.

Interment was in the church mausoleum.

He was the husband of Juanita Nicholas Schexnayder; father of Lorne Schexnayder 
of Vacherie, Linda Hebert of Schriever and Laura Cortez of Kraemer; brother of 
Denis and Ernest Schexnayder, both of Vacherie, Evelina and Elodie Falgoust, 
Cecile Brazan, Blanche Oncale and Agnes Kraemer. He is also survived by six 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurelien and Evelie Becnel 
Schexnayder.

He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Vacherie V.F.W. 
Post 4245.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jean Bellanger; parents, Azlin and 
Adeal Danos Danos; a son, Gary Bellanger; a daughter, Jeanette Hunter; two 
brothers, Alidor and Octave Danos; and a sister, Ateica Baudoin.

Lockport for Wilmoth "Pete" Taylor, 74, a native of Glasgow, Ky., and resident 
of Lockport, who died at 2:32 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.

Burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Gheens.

He was the husband of Anna Bale Taylor; father of Bonnie Allemand of Raceland 
and Glenda Taylor of Houston; brother of Kenneth Taylor, Clorine Burd and 
Kathleen Schneider. He is also survived by two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Lena Tinsley Taylor; and 
three brothers, Chester C., Louis H. and Martin Taylor.

He was a member and active deacon of First Baptist Church for 32 years, serving 
as church clerk for 27 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Walter 
Lanier Masonic Lodge 307 for more than 50 years. He was retired general manager 
of Golden Ranch Plantation.
