Chapel for Blanche Duplantis Sanders, 68, a native of Little Caillou and 
resident of Houma, who died at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at 
Chauvin Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

She was the wife of Albert P. Sanders: mother of Grant Darlene Dupre of Pointe 
aux Chenes, Patti Carter of Cohutta, Ga., Tammy Babin of Raceland and Rannie 
Duplantis of Chauvin; sister of Dussie Hebert of Upper Little Caillou and Anna 
Mae Hebert of Houma. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Annie Malbrough Duplantis; 
three brothers, Herbert, Dalton and Duffy "Bill" Duplantis; two sisters, Lizzie 
Smith and Bessie Prosperie.

She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church and a member of 
Sunset Evergreen Lion's Club and Lady's Knights of Columbus Auxiliary Holy 
Family of Dulac.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Holy Savior 
Church in Lockport for Helen Tastet Vedros, 84, a native of Cote Blanche and 
resident of Lockport, who died at 6:10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was the mother of Edward "Eddie" Vedros, Margaret Boudreaux and Audrey 
Fitzgerald; sister of Robert, Joe and Albert Tastet, Lucy Autin and Josephine 
Vedros. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odless Vedros; parents, Felicien and 
Rena Chouest Tastet; a son, Clyde Vedros; a daughter, Madeline Gros; two 
brothers, Edmond and Louis Tastet; three sisters, Inez Hotard, Felecia Rivet 
and Elma Daous; and two grandchildren.

She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Church in Lockport.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Larry "Larrow" Delcambre 
Sr., 52, who died on Saturday, Dec. 3.

His body was donated to the Louisiana State University Medical Center.

He was the husband of Judy Thibodaux Delcambre, father of Janet, Larry Jr., 
Arteleus "Bozo," Donna, Diezi, Derrek and Chad Delcambre, Susan and Gail 
Lirette and Lisa Pitre; brother of Ernest, Donald, Albert Jr. and Herman 
Daigle, Stella Davis and Brenda Zeringue. He is also survived by 13 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arteleus Delcambre and Doris Calliouet 
Daigle; stepfather, Albert Daigle Sr.; a daughter, Ann Marie; and a 
granddaughter, Tori Molaison.

Poitiers Catholic Church in Mathews for Clifton J. Dufrene, 79, a native of 
Gheens and resident of Raceland, who died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.

Burial was in Holy Savior Cemetery of Lockport.

He was the husband of Lorena Plaisance Dufrene; father of Louella, Calbert and 
Kevin Dufrene and Sylvia Theriot; brother of Albert Dufrene. He is also 
survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Victoria Dufrene; four 
brothers, Elvin, Hubert, Irvin and Tony Dufrene; two sisters, Nazy LeBouef and 
Ethel Dufrene; and one grandchild.

He was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Church.

Becky Zeringue Savoie; sister of Maurice J. and Edwis J. Loupe, Aline Matherne, 
Alice Ledet, Thelma Eschette and Velma Zeringue. She is also survived by two 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lezin and Anita Chiasson Loupe; two 
brothers, Herman J. and Harris Loupe; and a sister, Beulah Loupe.

She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Nativity Church and an employee of the 
Times-Picayune.

Earline Ponvelle Hotard; grandson of Magnolia Ponvelle; father of Kane and Kamy

Knight and Sherry Lirette. He is also survived by two grandchildren.

Sister Teresita Daigle

Sister Teresita Daigle, 86, a Carmelite nun who taught school in Thibodaux, 
died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1994, at Mount Carmel Motherhouse in New Orleans.

She was buried in St. Louis No. 3 cemetery in New Orleans on Friday.

She devoted more than 60 years to education, teaching in schools in Thibodaux, 
Abbeville, Lafayette, New Iberia and New Orleans before her retirement in 1985.

After retirement, she taught adult classes in scripture and French and received 
the Outstanding Service to Senior Citizens award from the Archdiocese of New 
Orleans.

She was born Hilda Daigle in Lafayette March 18, 1908. She entered the 
Congregation of Mount Carmel in 1923 and was christened Sister Mary Teresita 
Aug. 6, 1924. She pronounced her perpetual vows in 1932.

She received her teaching certificate at Mount Carmel Normal Training School, a 
bachelor's degree from Loyola University in New Orleans and master's degrees 
from Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and the University of 
Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.

She is survived by her brothers, the Rev. Jules O. Daigle of Welsh, La., and 
Brother Basil Gabriel of Lafayette and sisters, Anne Sowar of Baton Rouge, 
Mildred Monies, Lydia Schoffler and Florence Boudreaux of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Eliza Landry Daigle; 
brothers, Edward, Gabriel, George and Lloyd Daigle; and sisters, Regina 
Chargois, Ida Robinson, Lucille LaPorte, Rose Falcon, Sister Bercnmans Daigle 
and Sister Veronica Daigle.

Donations to the Mount Carmel retirement, development or memorial fund are 
preferred.

Family and friends will say a final goodbye to Clifton P "Ballou" Morvant who 
died Sunday. (Dec 18)

Morvant, 70, a Thibodaux resident and native of Schriever, is also remembered 
for his work to help handicapped children.

In 1964, Morvant organized the Lafourche Parish Association for Retarded 
Children. The Louisiana Association for Retarded Children awarded Morvant the 
Presidents Cup.

In addition to his work with various civic organizations Morvant was also known 
for his work while in public office. Morvant served as city of Thibodaux 
Trustee of Finance for 11 years and a Lafourche Parish School Board member for 
six years.

Burriel LeBoeuf Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said today at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic 
Church in Schriever for Burriel John "B.J." LeBoeuf, Sr., 59, a native of 
Ellendale and resident of Schriever who died on Friday, December 30.

Visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home was held Sunday from 5-10 p.m. and today 
from 8 a.m. until funeral time. Burial was held in the church's cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Janet Carlos LeBoeuf of Schriever; sons Burriel John 
LeBoeuf, Jr. of Schriever; daughter Stephanie LeBoeuf Bourg of Bayou Blue; 
brothers Adley LeBoeuf of Bayou Blue and Michael LeBoeuf of Lockport; sister 
Earline L. Legendre of Gheens; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest Paul and Edna Filce LeBoeuf; 
brother Russell and Ernest Paul LeBoeuf; sister Ruth Breaux.

He was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church, a U.S. Army Veteran and a 
retired driller for Delta Drilling Company.

Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma was in charge of the arrangements.

Antoinette Rodrigue

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Antoinette "Mom Mom Net" T. Prejeant Rodrigue, 
95, a native of Labadieville and resident of Thibodaux, who died at 1:30 a.m. 
today, Dec. 30.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at the church.

Burial will be in St. Philomena Cemetery in Labadieville.

She was the mother of A. J. Rodrigue. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren 
and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Nolan Prejeant; second husband, 
Paul Rodrigue; parents, Edgar and Helen Vicknair Talbot; a son, Irvin Prejeant; 
a brother, Whitney Talbot; and two sisters, Louise Chiasson and Maggie Everhardt.

Peter Rodrigue

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 3 
at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland for Peter Carroll Rodrigue, 62, a 
native of Lockport and resident of Raceland who died at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, 
December 31.

Visitation at Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland will be held today from 5-10 
p.m. and Tuesday from 7 a.m. until funeral time. Burial will be held in the 
church's cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Helen Guidry Rodrigue; mother Emily M Uzee; sons 
Brian, Kevin, Wayne and Craig Rodrigue; daughters Carol Falgoust and Linda 
Kraemer sister Mrs. O'Neil (Pearl) Foret and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by hi father Emile Rodrigue.

He was a parishioner of S Mary's Church and a Veteran of Korean War and a 
member of American Legion Post 349.
