Freche of Lockport; son of Ethel A. Freche of Lockport; father of Gina F. Chiasson, Debra F. Pierce and Brandy F. Lybarger, all of Lockport; brother of Terry "Bubba" Freche of Lockport and Bonnie F. Fonseca of Chalmette. He is also survived by four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Freche Sr. He was a lifelong musician and was guitarist for the Neville Brothers, joining the band about a year ago. She is the mother of Carol Rodrigue Didier and Diane Rodrigue Landry. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucien and Virginia Barrios Griffin; two brothers, Bruce Sr. and Webster Griffin Sr.; a sister, Bertha Griffin; and a son, Ryan A. Rodrigue. She was a long-time resident of Donaldsonville and recently Heritage Manor of Napoleonville.
