A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Galliano for Francine Gisclair, Brunet, 89, a native and 
resident of Galliano, who died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Burial will be in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.

She was the mother of Elphege Jr. and Andrew "Tan" Brunet, Irma LaGrange and Ola 
Freeman; sister of Woodrow and Rosemond Gisclair. She is also survived by 15 
grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elphege Brunet Sr.; parents, Ulysse and 
Zaide Charpentier Gisclair; a daughter, Dudline Louviere; three brothers, 
Theotime, Burney and Ulysse Gisclair Jr.; and a great-granddaughter, Emelie 
Louviere.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. 
Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville for Herman J. "Pete" Clause, 86, a 
native of Labadieville and resident of Napoleonville, who died at 2:30 a.m. 
Thursday, Feb. 1, at Thibodaux Hospital and Health Centers.

He was the husband of Verna Bernard Clause; father of Mrs. George (Jacqueline) 
Pitre, Thomas D. and Ricard J. Clause and Mrs. Jerry (Judy) Barbera; brother of 
E.J. Clause and Rae Rita C. Acosta, both of Napoleonville, Thelma C. Naquin of 
Thibodaux and Dolores C. Lockhart of Folsom. He is also survived by nine 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rene and Florence Bergeron Clause; a 
brother, Russell Clause; and two sisters, Mildred C. Turner and Effie C. Healy.

Expressway, Marrero, for Carlos A. Greene Sr., 38, a native of New Orleans and 
resident of Thibodaux, who died Thursday, Feb. 1.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at Davis Mortuary. Dismissal will be at 10 
a.m. Friday, and burial will be in Evening Star Cemetery in Harvey.

He was the husband of Sharon Hill Greene of Thibodaux; father of Hosea, Carlisha, 
Holly, Tyruss, Carlos Jr., Lorenzo and Michelle Greene; brother of Larry, Donald, 
Ray, Fernando, Kinney, Sophia, Zina, Raffael and Rachel Greene.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and Clarence Greene.

Catholic Church in Ama for Roy Rock Lauve, 69, a native of Jefferson Parish and 
resident of Waggaman, who died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1.

Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale.

He was the husband of Hazel Dufrene Lauve; father of Robin Dempsey and Connie 
Hinyub; brother of Ned, Jessie, Amy and Pearl Lauve, Stella Troxler and Peggy 
Friloux. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Estelle Robert Lauve; a 
brother, Lawrence Lauve; and two sisters, Minkey Lauve and Hazel Friloux.

Rosary Catholic Church in Larose for Clifton Joseph Trahan Sr., 55, a native of 
Kinder and resident of Larose, who died at 1:08 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1.

He was the husband of Merril Anselmi Trahan; son, of Eunice Credeur Trahan; 
father of Clifton Jr. and Tammy Trahan, Donna Domangue, Penny Nazio and Christina 
Terrebonne; brother of Ray, Cleveland and Joseph Trahan Jr., Azelia "Sis" Duet, 
Dorothy Dupre and Patricia Benoit. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Trahan Sr.: three brothers, Larry 
and Edward Trahan and Olizine LeJeune; and two grandchildren.

Evangelist Catholic Church in Lafayette for Irene Alma Roundtree Gaubert, 89, a 
native of Schriever and resident of Lafayette, who died at 6:05 p.m. Friday, Feb. 
3.

Interment was in Peace Chapel Mausoleum in Lafayette Memorial Park.

She was the mother of Raymond Sr. and Clifford Gaubert, both of Lafayette; sister 
of Beulah Delatte and Molly Zeringue, both of Thibodaux, and Lillian Nepveaux of 
Lafayette. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Gaubert; a son, Clarence 
Gaubert Jr.; and five brothers.

Meadow and resident of Galliano, who died Friday, Feb. 3.

She was. the daughter of Agnes Galliano St. Pierre; mother of David Danos, Gabe 
Griffin and Angie Blanchard; stepmother of Grace Anne Hick; sister of Joyce 
Anselmi. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Griffin Jr.; and her father, 
Will St. Pierre.

He was the son of Freddie and Lorena Pierce Griffin Sr.; father of Gabe Paul

by a grandchild and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard Sr. and Lizzie Marcel Lirette; 
and a brother, Millard Lirette Jr.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a past president of the 
Terrebonne Livestock and Agricultural Organization, vice president of the 
Terrebonne Parish Deputies Association and a colonel of the Terrebonne Parish 
Mounted Posse. He was also active with children's 4-H and FFA.

two brothers, Vincent Jr. and Joseph Lusco Sr.; and a sister, Mrs. John

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post 4245.

by 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles "Matt" and Amelia Fleming; 
husband, Joseph Jamison; a son, Ivory Jamison; five brothers; and five sisters.

Eric (Patricia) Naquin of Brookhaven, Miss.; sister of Claude, Paul, Emile and 
John Rodrigue and Alexina Crochet. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 
24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Joseph Brunet; parents, Mentor 
and Fabiola Neal Rodrigue; two sisters, Viola Dupre and Maiola Trahan; and two 
grandchildren.

She was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church of Brookhaven.

Former parish deputy Bob Boughamer dies

Bob Boughamer, a longtime Lafourche Parish law enforcement officer, died 
Wednesday at 2:35 a.m.

Lawrence Autin, a friend and coworker remembers a sharp, capable young man 
taken away too soon.

"He was a brilliant young man," Autin said, "He would have been 50 in May."

Autin worked with Boughamer under Sheriff Duffy Breaux before joining him at 
the indigent defender's office in December 1993, where Boughamer worked as an 
investigator.

"Bob had a good personality," he said. "Once you met him, he was the kind of 
person that you wouldn't have forgotten."

Autin said Boughamer was an asset to the community with his involvement with 
the church and the South Lafourche area.

"I am sure the people of Ward 10 are going to miss Bob," he said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church in Galliano for Robert Alan Boughamer, 49, a native of Palms, 
Calif., and resident of Cut Off.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary 
Catholic Church in Houma for Marie Billiot Lodrigue, 84, a native of Terrebonne 
Parish and resident of Houma, who died Thursday, Feb. 29.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was the mother of Louis "Mac" Lodrigue of Abbeville, Edward Lodrigue of 
Grand Caillou, Irene, Nolan, Ernest and Joseph Lodrigue, Mildred Chaisson and 
Mabel Billiot, all of Houma. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 14 
great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eloi Mexican Lodrigue; parents, Octave 
and Julia B. Billiot; a daughter; four brothers; and three sisters.

She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary.

Thad Hoffmann

A memorial service is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home in 
Thibodaux for Thad Paul Hoffmann, 25, a native and resident of Thibodaux, who died 
at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 29.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was the son of Clive "C.J" Hoffmann Jr. and Gloria Jean Albritton Hoffmann; 
brother of Dawn H. Brickneell, Candi H. Chauvin and Cassie Jean Hoffmann; 
grandson of Flora Adams Hoffmann and Frances White Albritton.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clive J. Hoffmann Sr. and Ernest 
Albritton.

He served in the medical community as a home health care aide with First Health 
Homebound Care for five years.
